Working big requires one to step out of the square. Nothing is made alone and especially on this scale: design and manufacturing coupled with excellent communication and collaborative skills are a prerequisite. We are very proud to have produced a range of custom chandeliers in partnership with a key range of architects, lighting specialists, metal, copper and glass craftsman for this extraordinary office refurbishment in the historic center of Queretaro, Mexico.

Working directly with key stakeholders Miguel Concha Architecture of Queretaro and specialist architectural lighting firm Luz En Architecture of Mexico City, the brief was to design a range of chandeliers incorporating sculptural decorative lighting elements with functional down-lighting to light the office spaces below as well as up-lighting to showcase the 400 year history of this extraordinary building. Every detail of these chandeliers was hand made by a range of skilled artists, designers and technicians within a radius of 250 kilometers from the project: Viva Mexico !

The project was rewarding not just on its scale but also the technical requirements of each individual chandelier. The lamps needed to work within the parameters of the building´s structure and aesthetic whilst producing the precise amount of light required for each individual space.

We are very happy with the outcome and look forward to the continued collaboration on the project.
