About us

Luminosa™ is an architectural lighting design studio strongly influenced by form, materials and the unique creativity of our handmade process. Our collection of contemporary pendant lamps for residential and commercial environments is available in a diverse range of materials, finishes and colors. We work closely with designers and artisans to create one-of-a-kind pieces using everything from molten glass and hand-beaten recycled copper to cast ceramic.

With the growth of lighting technology and exciting new options, we’re enjoying a burst of creativity. We love the challenge—and reward—of adapting new technologies to push boundaries and open new doors for our customers. Our conceptualization, design and production processes combine computer aided design and manufacture with our penchant for the handmade – giving our pieces a unique yet familiar feel and adding warmth to any space.

For custom projects, we work directly with architects, interior designers, the construction sector or the public on bespoke projects. We manage all aspects of custom development and manufacture from consultancy, concept/ design, prototyping/ product development to manufacturing, logistics and export.

Our studio and office are based in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
