 These are trying times for individuals, businesses and the community alike. At Luminosa, fortunately, we are able to continue to service the community.

During the last 6 months, we have taken the time to strengthen relationships with our clients and suppliers as well as give back to our community. Through best practices, we continue to make our signature hand made lighting.

We have adjusted our supply chain, emphasizing locally made and manufactured. Did you know we make 95 % of our lighting within a 160-mile radius of our workshop? 

We have also been fortunate to contribute to our local community in this time of need delivering food and supplies to those most in need also assisting people mobilize as they adapt to changes in their lives.

There are many special traditions surrounding Christmas in Mexico. Some of these originated in Spain and others developed due to Mexico's unique and particular history. The festivities surrounding Christmas last through much of the month of December, but in fact, the Christmas season isn't well and truly over until February 2nd. The traditional Christmas parties, the Posadas officially begin on the 16th of December one each day for nine days leading up to Christmas day. Hand making a pendant light

To make glass by hand is an amazing sensation, the heat, timing, dexterous necessity, teamwork. Taking a gob of gooey dripping molten glass from a furnace and over time manipulating, reheating , blowing and forming the glass into an object is not always easy and even we sometimes make mistakes or take a few turns to get it right ! However making an object for a client is incredible!
